The Vitality Fitness Assessment is made up of two parts – the first part measures your cardio-vascular fitness and the second measures your strength and flexibility
You can earn 2500 Vitality points and up to an additional 5000 Vitality points depending on your fitness level.

Having a healthy diet is essential for a healthy lifestyle. Vitality’s Nutrition Assessment helps you know what your body’s nutritional requirements are and what your goals should be.
You will earn 1000 Vitality points for doing a Vitality nutrition assessment.

What is a vitality assessment?
The Vitality Fitness Assessment tells you how fit you are. You’ll understand your current fitness level and know which areas you need to focus on. After doing the assessment, you will get an exercise plan based on your areas of need and your fitness goals.

What does a Vitality Health Check involve?
The Vitality Health Check is made up of five measures: blood pressure, blood glucose, cholesterol, a weight assessment (which includes weight, height and waist circumference) and signing a non-smoker’s declaration.

How do I book vitality fitness assessment?
Book an appointment at Olympus wellness center. Take your Discovery Health membership card or proof of your Vitality membership, exercise gear and R445. 40 with you to your assessment. You will need to pay for the assessment upfront.

How long does it take for vitality to work?
After you complete an activity and it posts to your statement, it can take up to 24 hours for the appropriate number of Vitality Points to also post.

How long after I complete an event may I submit the required documentation and receive Vitality Points?
You have up to 90 days to do so.

Can I eat before Vitality Health Check?
It is recommended not to eat or drink for at least 2 hours before your Vitality Health Check.
